Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II in Woodburn, OR to fabricate components and assemble finished products per customer specifications. You’ll set up work areas, fit parts, operate presses and hand tools, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires at least 6 months of assembly experience, basic math ability, and may prefer bilingual English/Spanish. This is a full-time on-site position with standard production responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • At least 6 months assembling components or specialty products.
  • willingness to work with basic math and safety procedures, 18+.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work area setup.
  • Fits parts together according to prescribed manner and quality standards.
  • Operates presses and machinery as required to complete the assembly process.
  • Stacks completed products and may label/band components.
  • Keeps work area safe, clean, and organized; reports problems before shift.
  • Maintains TPM and production records as required.
  • Checks materials and finished products for compliance with standards.
  • Participates in safety, CI, and other programs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
