Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assembler II in Pennsylvania to fabricate component parts and assemble finished products according to customer specifications.

You will ensure parts and supplies are available, operate presses and hand tools, and maintain a clean, safe work area in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, TPM paperwork, production records, and participation in safety and CI programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products; 1 year preferred.
  • Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components per prescribed procedures and quality standards.
  • Set up work area and ensure parts and supplies are available.
  • Operate presses, machinery, and hand tools to complete assembly.
  • Stack and label finished products as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and report problems.
  • Complete pre-shift equipment inspection and TPM paperwork if required.
  • Maintain production records and check materials for standards.
  • Participate in safety and improvement programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
