Qualifications

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, manuals and schematics.
  • Use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Inspect parts for defects or damage.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
  • Report machinery malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
  • Install electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components.
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies per guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Read instructions and blueprints and assemble components or sub-assemblies.
  • Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality.
  • Operate hand and power tools and hydraulic press as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • Document quality issues and report malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with team to meet production goals on schedule.
  • Install and connect mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components.
  • Adjust, repair or replace faulty parts to ensure performance.
