Position Summary

Performs assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA-regulated devices in a controlled work environment.

Benefits

• Shift: 5:20am-3:30pm Monday - Thursday

Duties

1. Learn and follow detailed work instructions.
2. Assemble components including gluing, weaving, packaging, coiling, welding using various hand tools and pneumatic presses.
3. Handle and evaluate the quality of small parts during manufacturing.
4. Troubleshoot simple equipment malfunctions.
5. Promote and support a safe working environment.
6. Report any issues related to production, parts, equipment, or processes to the team lead/supervisor.
7. Work effectively with team members.
8. Follow shop practices including proper gowning and PPE use.
9. Support LEAN operations by following standard work, safety observations, idea generation, and updating the Hour by Hour Board.
10. Meet quality assurance standards and complete related documentation.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Required Experience

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions in English.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and troubleshoot issues with parts and equipment.
• Effective teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.
• Basic math skills including counting and arithmetic.

Preferred Experience

• Previous assembly experience with small parts preferred.
