Job summary

UFP Industries, Inc is seeking an Assembler I to fabricate component parts or assemble finished products according to customer specifications. The role ensures correct components and supplies are used for the operation and emphasizes safety and quality practices.

Responsibilities include setting up work areas, fitting parts, operating hand tools, maintaining clean work areas, keeping production records, and adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• 6 months of manufacturing and assembling experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Completes work area setup.
• Fits parts together in accordance with prescribed instructions and quality standards.
• Operates hand tools as required to complete the assembly process.
• Stacks completed products in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
• Maintains production records as required.
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
