Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is hiring an Assembler to operate multiple machines fabricating metal for entrance systems. You will read blueprints, interpret schedules, and coordinate with shift operators under the Production Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for 8–10 hours, and work in a noisy production setting. Growth potential with an industry leader.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret sketches for glass entrance systems.
• Read and understand schedules and production demands.
• Operate a saw to cut stock, prep metal, and assemble headers/rails.
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines.
• Complete daily work sheets and forms.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read and understand sketches and interpret their meaning onto glass entrance systems
• Must be able to read schedules and understand production demands based on information schedules
• Operate a saw to cut down stock material, use jigs to prep metal for further fabrication, and complete metal headers and glass door rails
• Operate overhead crane and vacuum lift
• Perform routine maintenance on machines
• Complete daily work sheets and forms
