Assembly Laborer

Pay range $17-$18 depending on skill/experience

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts/racks using fasteners, manual and power tools to complete engineering print and first piece.
• Ensure part/rack quality is maintained from station to station.
• Inspect rack form and part fit before removing the part/rack from the line.
• Assist with line change overs as needed.
• Assist other departments as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain 5S standards daily and always maintain safety.

Qualifications

• No education required.
• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
• Read a calibrated tape measure.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality manuals.
• Exercise sound judgment with an emphasis on a safe and respectful work environment.
• Identify and measure material.
