Job summary

Alamo Group Ag Americas, Inc. in Selma, Alabama is seeking an Assembler II to join our Bush Hog brands family. This hands-on role involves building components across multiple assembly lines, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet safety and quality standards.

You will operate hoists and forklifts, collaborate with other departments, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting production schedules. Prior assembler experience and a forklift certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year as Assembler I.
• Ability to read assembly orders and build to specifications.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Focus on safety and contribute to safety meetings.
• Coordinate with other departments to guarantee parts availability.
• Operate essential tools and equipment for assembly.
• Ensure correct parts are used on each line.
• Inspect products to guarantee safety and quality.
• Review work orders for special requests or changes.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace before, during and after assembly.
• Read blueprints for each product.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
