Job summary

nVent is seeking an Assembler at our Millington facility. You will assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components per work instructions, using hand and power tools to produce high-quality finished products.

You will inspect assemblies, maintain equipment, and collaborate with team members to meet safety and production goals. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly in manufacturing.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for detailed parts.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components and subassemblies as instructed.
• Use hand and power tools for precise assembly work.
• Install components using bolts, rivets, soldering, or micro-welding techniques.
• Clean parts and assemblies using approved methods.
• Inspect finished work for quality and conformance to specs.
• Maintain production equipment and keep work area organized.
