Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Assembler in Texas to support manufacturing by mounting, aligning, and assembling parts for comfort units. You will read blueprints and supervisor instructions, ensure quality, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Shifts run Monday–Thursday with potential overtime; hourly pay ranges from $17.50 to $19.00, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Read and write English.
• Must have good problem solving skills.
• Prior carpentry/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Read blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor.
• Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components to assemble comfort units.
• Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot any issues.
• Visually inspect assembled products and ensure quality; maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
