Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Assembler in Texas to join our manufacturing team. You will perform mounting, alignment, and assembly of components to produce comfort units, following blueprints and supervisor instructions.

You will work 4:00am–2:30pm on Monday–Thursday with possible overtime; safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential. Prior carpentry/construction experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong problem-solving skills; carpentry/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assemble parts per blueprints and supervisor instructions.
• Mount, align, and assemble components to complete comfort units.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure steady production flow.
• Inspect assemblies for proper alignment and function.
• Package units with warranties and manuals; select protective packing.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and perform other duties as assigned.
