Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.

• Work under supervision with clear directions.

Responsibilities

• Make general decisions as to quality of products and adjust as necessary.
• Lifts heavy materials and frequently works with medium weights.
• Maintains focus for repetitive tasks and attention to detail.
• Complies with safety precautions to prevent injuries.
• Assembles revolving field cores per drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Operates shaft press to specification.
• Applies mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
• Maintains good housekeeping and safety in the work area.
