Job summary

Rosenbauer Minnesota is seeking a Saw Operator to run the aluminum upcut and band saws, providing precise job packages to fabrication. The role involves lifting metal parts and reading blueprints and tape measures to ensure accurate cuts, while maintaining safety and cleanliness of equipment.

You'll monitor inventories, verify angle grades and specifications, and perform routine saw maintenance. Overtime or evening shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets body prints and blueprints; follows drawings for fabrication.
• Able to read a tape measure accurately and apply measurements to cuts.
• Maintains safety and quality while operating saws and handling metal parts.

Responsibilities

• Lifts metal sheets and parts into saws to make cuts.
• Reads body prints and tape measures to ensure correct dimensions.
• Monitors inventory levels of metal parts to prevent shortages.
• Regularly cleans and maintains saws to ensure safe operation.
• Ensures cuts meet angle grade and build specifications.
• Performs other duties as required by supervisor to meet department needs.
