Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Marietta, GA seeks a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis. You will use up-to-date equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

You may also perform state inspections, oil/filters changes and flat repairs, and assist with other automotive services as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent education/training.
• State inspection license is preferred.
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and the ability to lift items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Use alignment equipment to align tires and wheels after mounting.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs.
• Perform other required automotive services or repairs as needed.
