Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Newton, NJ is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join our team. You will use advanced equipment to align tires, measure caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles, and perform related services.

This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ensuring customer vehicles travel straight and true. Prior tire or alignment experience is valued; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or equivalent training.
• Preferred: state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment; measure caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Perform related automotive services such as oil changes and inspections as needed.
• Maintain safety, quality and efficiency while servicing customers' vehicles.
