Job summary

Science and Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Painter I to coat aircraft surfaces with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other materials. The role includes preparing surfaces, priming and painting, and following work instructions in a controlled environment.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of aircraft painting or equivalent experience; paint experience is preferred. Compliance with documentation and QMS requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year aircraft painting or equivalent experience required.
• Paint experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the aircraft for paint by masking and sanding the aircraft and parts.
• Primes and paints aircraft and aircraft parts.
• Has general knowledge of technical manuals and painting processes.
• Reads and follows work instructions.
• Maintains all documentation throughout process; documentation is legible and per QMS and/or customer requirements.
• Assembles materials and resources needed for the position; cleans equipment properly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
