Job summary

Five Star Cooperative is seeking a Custom Applicator to safely deliver and apply agronomy products, including fertilizers and pesticides, to fields per work orders. You will mix and apply products accurately, maintain documentation, and service equipment to ensure efficiency while supporting elevator operations and inventory management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with customer service is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive.

Responsibilities

• Operate agronomy spraying/spreading application equipment.
• Apply fertilizer, chemical, or pesticide products to work orders per specifications.
• Mix fertilizer or chemicals to ensure quality and accuracy per label.
• Prepare and submit required application documentation on time.
• Understand basic agronomy chemistry of products.
• Maintain and repair sprayer/spreader equipment regularly.
• Assists with operations and inventory management at locations as needed.
• Develop strong customer relationships and communicate with supervisors about inventory.
