Job summary

The Simplot Company in Caldwell, ID is seeking an Operations Support Applicator to operate advanced crop protection and nutrient application equipment, delivering agronomic services with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will load, transport, and apply products, perform routine calibrations and maintenance, and help maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with air brakes required or willing to obtain.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required or willing to obtain.
• Pesticide Applicator license required or willing to obtain.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work Ag Industry hours—early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays.
• High school diploma or GED; combination of education, training and/or experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Apply agricultural products using modern application machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine calibrations, maintenance, cleaning, and proper storage of application machinery.
• Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customers locations in compliance with safety and transport regulations.
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming product shipments; maintain accurate warehouse inventory.
• Conduct general maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities.
• Support miscellaneous operational needs including training and cross-functional backup as required.
