Job summary

AgState is seeking a Precision Ag Intern in Albert City, IA to learn agronomy practices and work with customers using our precision ag systems. You will enter data, generate reports, and present findings to the precision ag team and customers.

You will shadow technicians, learn about prescription maps and yield maps, assist the Seed Product Manager on special projects, and interact with growers to help inform marketing decisions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field.
• Strong interest in agronomy, data, and customer service.
• Ability to work with precision ag data and field observations.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer data into Precision Ag systems.
• Generate reports and present data to the Precision Ag team and customers.
• Shadow Precision Ag Technicians and learn about prescription maps, yield maps, and reports.
• Assist Seed Product Manager and Precision Ag Manager on special projects.
• Interact with growers to manage risk and support marketing decisions.
• Attend grower and team meetings.
