Aerotek in Valencia, CA is seeking a Lathe Machinist to set up, program and operate CNC lathes, with a focus on landing gear components. You will interpret blueprints and OHM/CMM docs, ensuring tight tolerances in an aviation repair setting.

First shift hours in a climate-controlled, fully onsite facility are available. This contract-to-hire role offers a pay range of $21.00–$35.00/hr and opportunities to advance within a modern CNC shop.

Competenze

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Experience with CNC lathes and Haas equipment.
• Ability to read and understand English technical documentation.
• Attention to detail in machining and inspection.
• Ability to read OHM/CMM documents and blueprints.
• Identify alloys and their machining characteristics.
• Work in aviation repair station environment compliance.

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines to meet blueprint requirements.
• Machine landing gear components per OEM manuals and drawings.
• Run CNC machines to meet production and quality requirements.
• Ensure dimensional tolerances per shop travelers.
• Identify and remove defects to maintain quality.
• Visually inspect parts for defects.
• Perform dimensional inspections with inspection tools.
• Clean up machined parts including deburring.
