Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC is seeking a 2D Laser Machine Operator for our Aurora, IL location. The role involves operating a CNC 2D laser cutter and supporting production by assembling parts, bending, punching, or sawing metal per supervisor instructions.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of 2D laser cutting experience. The position offers a 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) with a starting pay of $20/hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of experience in 2D laser cutting operation.
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions and SOPs.
• Solid background with sheet metal.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to work unsupervised while meeting quality requirements.
• Read blueprints and work orders.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to use a computer to operate programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machine and other production machinery as instructed.
• Set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs, and set machine parameters.
• Unload, count, sort, organize and package cut parts.
• Setup machines, adjust tooling, and make changes per blueprints and engineering orders.
• Keep work area organized before and after processing parts.
• Collaborate with team to maximize productivity.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Safely clear jams and report malfunctions to management.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
