Prysmian is seeking a 16 Carrier Braider Operator to run multiple braider lines and ensure precise braid coverage over pair conductors. The role requires careful loading of materials, threading through carriers, and maintaining machine run time to meet quality specifications.

The ideal candidate will possess high school education, strong color perception, physical strength for lifting up to 100 lbs, and the ability to work to tight tolerances (1/1000 inch). Safety and housekeeping are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Strong color perception and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Operate 16 Carrier Braider lines and related equipment.
• Braider to provide braided covering over pair conductors.
• Load carriers and thread braiding material through closing die.
• Thread core through payoff and into take-up reel; secure.
• Start, monitor, and stop machine as needed; maintain run time.
• Replace spools; keep area clean and organized (6S).
• Document production labor and material movements in SAP.
