Job summary

Allied Group is hiring for a Warehouse Picker to support shipping operations. The role involves selecting materials according to pick tickets, scanning items with barcode technology, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You will work with supervision to verify quantities and quality while following safety protocols. Responsibilities include daily safety briefings, timely communication with supervisors, and assisting with process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of warehouse experience.
• Speak and read English; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to effectively use a barcode scanner to pick and pack orders.
• Ability to drive a forklift and secure certification.
• Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Use Pick Ticket information to locate, verify, and record information to meet customer requirements.
• Operate a barcode scanner and related technology.
• Ensure forklifts and other equipment are in proper working condition.
• Communicate effectively with department supervisors.
• Attend daily departmental and safety meetings to address issues.
• Identify areas for improvement while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
