Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an SMT Rework Technician to join a small team supporting PCBA rework and harness repairs for Starlink products. The role involves soldering, reading layouts, and collaborating with engineering on new PCBA and test rack systems.

The position requires 3+ years in mechanical/electrical/PCBA work, ability to read complex drawings, and willingness to overtime. Expect competitive pay with benefits in a dynamic aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years of mechanical, electrical, and/or PCBA experience.

Responsibilities

• Solder and de-solder through hole and SMT components.
• Support conformal coat, masking, epoxy application and coating.
• Mechanical/electrical assembly of PCB assemblies into product chassis.
• Read, interpret and work from drawings as well as from controlled documentation and processes.
• Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work.
• Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy.
