Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• KY Pharmacy Technician Certificate is required/preferred.
• PTCB Certification is required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare and package prescription medications for dispensing and perform quality checks.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Document all medication preparation and inventory activities, prepare reports as required by the pharmacy manager.
• Compliance and Safety: Follow all pharmacy laws and safety protocols, participate in continuing education.
• Collaboration and Support: Work with pharmacists and team members, assist in training new technicians.
