Job summary

84 Lumber is seeking an experienced construction estimator to price type 3 and type 5 wood-frame multi-story projects in Meridian, Idaho. You will review plans, generate accurate material lists, and support bidding for multi-family and commercial jobs.

Candidates should be detailed-oriented, patient, and proficient with Planswift or similar estimating software as well as Microsoft Office. You will collaborate with project teams to identify risks and opportunities and ensure bids are submitted on

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating (multi-family/commercial preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Proficient in estimating software (Planswift or similar) and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, and project scope
• Create quality / accurate material lists from approved plans
• Collect and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Assist with bid submissions and proposals
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities
