Job summary

Brink’s Global Services USA, Inc. in Springfield Gardens, NY is hiring a Precious Metals Clerk for an armed environment. You will monitor, process, and verify inbound/outbound shipments, sorting shipments and ensuring accurate inventory records.

The role requires handling precious metals and upholding strict security and paperwork standards. Hourly rate is $22.50 with shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Demonstrated PC proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• A valid firearms permit or ability to pass firearms licensing requirements.
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or other required licenses.
• Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds on a consistent basis during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Accept and deliver shipments of precious metals for Brink’s Global Services USA, Inc. or outside carrier at facility.
• Perform audits on existing inventory to ensure vault integrity.
• Check in shipments with provided documents and match to inventory records.
• Complete necessary audit-compliant paperwork for incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Prepare shipments of precious metals for outbound transport.
