Job description

Tiffany & Co. (Cumberland, Rhode Island)

Tiffany & Co. is seeking an experienced precious metal caster for its manufacturing facility in Cumberland, Rhode Island, where jewelry products unique to the company are crafted by a diverse workforce.

Required Qualifications:

  1. High School Education or equivalent
  2. Minimum 2+ years of related experience and/or training
  3. Good communication skills, the ability to read, write, and understand Safety, Security and Company policies and procedures
  4. Ability to lift heavy casting

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Cast gold, silver, and platinum utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and following established procedures.
  2. Must be capable of documenting processes as required.
  3. Weigh grain and document each melt.
  4. Divest flasks as they are cast, wash, pickle, wet blast, and sort casting by work order.
  5. Fill out necessary documentation.
  6. Reconfirm metal weights, and account for any lost metal.
  7. Invest in silver, gold, and platinum flasks as required to fulfill casting demands.
  8. Communicate with waxing, casting, quality, and health and safety to ensure the highest quality casting product is manufactured safely.
  9. Maintain daily maintenance to all casting equipment and consumable supply logs as needed.
  10. Housekeeping: Ensure that investing, casting, and divesting areas are clean at all times to ensure the cleanest, safest environment for all associates to work in.
