Responsibilities include initiating contact with insurance payers, physicians, and patients/families to obtain precertification and authorizations for inpatient and outpatient services. Pre-register patients as needed by calling patient families or using department protocols. Ensure all patient accounts flow through the billing cycle without errors caused by lack of authorization/precertification, insurance verification, or registration errors.
This is a fully remote position, with the first week on-site in West Allis for orientation.
