Qualifications

• High level of computer competency; familiarity with EMR and third-party processes.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely insurance verification and eligibility using practice management systems and payer portals.
• Ensures accurate entry of insurance, demographic and eligibility data; communicates with patients to obtain missing information.
• Contacts insurers to initiate pre-certification/authorization for ordered procedures and testing.
