Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group in Rialto, CA is seeking a Quality-focused team member embedded in Production to ensure every pipe meets strict project specifications. This role reports to the Quality Supervisor and involves hands-on testing, documentation, and collaboration with manufacturing teams.

You will monitor quality, prepare tensile test reports, conduct aggregate testing, and maintain QA records while supporting production QC responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ACI Field Grade 1 certification required.
• Knowledge of concrete technology, welding, and NDE/NDT preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in Quality Assurance or Production within a related industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring all facets of product quality under the guidance of the Quality Supervisor.
• Preparing and maintaining Steel Tensile Test reports and documenting results.
• Performing aggregate testing and tracking outcomes.
• Executing and recording Joint Assembly Tests.
• Compiling production fabrication, test, and inspection reports.
• Assisting Production team members who carry quality control responsibilities.
• Ensuring full compliance with any added or special QA procedures specified by the project.
• Tackling additional quality-related tasks as assigned.
