Job summary

American Concrete Products in Dallas, TX is seeking a Production Supervisor to work with the Production Manager to schedule crews and manage precast form production. You will guide crews, ensure quality, and optimize workflow while aligning with safety and company policies.

The role requires precast experience, ability to read blueprints, and carpentry or concrete finishing familiarity. Heavy equipment experience is a plus. In-person work schedule aligns with a 10-hour shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Precast experience required.
• Must be able to interpret blueprints with ease.
• Ability to read a measuring tape.
• Carpentry preferred.
• Concrete finishing experience preferred.
• Heavy equipment experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides information to estimators for precast production costs and job opportunities.
• Assists in establishing and managing production schedules and table utilization.
• Attends daily production meetings to discuss schedules and improvements.
• Communicates with crew leaders on production sequences and issues.
• Ensures complete fabrication of products for QC checks.
• Keeps crew engaged in productive work and training tasks.
• Evaluates precasters for skill level and training needs.
• Models attendance, timeliness, respect, and teamwork.
• Performs preliminary performance appraisals with Plant Manager.
• Monitors labor costs per panel and drives efficiency improvements.
• Tracks and reduces precast panel rework and fixes.
• Maintains plant safety per Safety Manual.
