Job summary

MRINetwork is seeking an experienced Production Foreman for a precast concrete facility in Amesbury, MA. The role involves leading daily production, coordinating schedules with the Plant Manager, and ensuring safety and quality across the operation.

The incumbent will oversee production staff, drive efficiency, manage quality control, and participate in hiring, training, and evaluations. A strong background in precast and leadership is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in precast concrete production/manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or lead role in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and quality systems.
• Awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience with machinery, tools, and equipment in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Comfortable with basic math and practical production solutions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Willing to participate in hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities in a precast concrete environment.
• Oversee production of precast concrete products.
• Assign and delegate tasks to production staff as needed.
• Coordinate production schedules with Plant Manager.
• Promote continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Implement and maintain product quality control measures.
• Enforce safety policies and regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally responsible facility.
• Monitor equipment maintenance to minimize interruptions.
• Request parts, materials, and supplies as needed.
• Assess skill/training levels of production employees.
• Participate in hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide input for employee performance reviews.
• Foster employee involvement and suggestion programs.
• Prepare incident reports for workplace accidents.
• Attend management and production meetings.
• Stay current with industry education and NPCA PQS standards.
• Perform other supervisory duties as needed.
