Job summary

H&K Group (Atlantic American Precast division) is hiring a Precast Laborer in Douglassville, PA. The role designs and builds forms, pours concrete, and finishes surfaces with stains, waterproofing, and sealants. Training is provided through on-the-job and company programs.

Your duties include setting up forms, reinforcing concrete with wire mesh, and ensuring a durable finish while meeting job specs. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work nights and weekends as

Responsibilities

• Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Designing and building forms
• Setting up the forms
• Pouring concrete
• Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete
• Spreading and smoothing concrete
• Molding expansion joints and edges
• Using stains or colors to add the finishing touch
• Applying waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work
• Monitoring the material to ensure it hardens to a durable finish
• Other duties as assigned

The Precast Laborer is responsible for designing and building forms, pouring concrete, then spreading and smoothing it using trowels or other tools. You may also be required to apply stains to finish the concrete and concluding the process by applying waterproofing and sealants. Qualifications Required Skills, Education, and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
• Able to read and understand general production plans
• Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of how to use hand and power tools
• Able to work night and weekend shifts when required
• Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
