Job summary

Warrior Precast, LLC is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our production team. The role focuses on fabricating, welding, assembling, and preparing metal components for precast concrete products, requiring reading drawings and measuring to precise specs.

Ideal candidates have five+ years of hands-on fabrication and welding experience, with strong attention to safety and quality. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional welding and/or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of welding practices, metal fabrication, and shop safety.
• Accurate measurement, cutting, fitting, and welding of metal components.
• Safe operation of common welding and fabrication equipment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, weld, assemble, and modify metal components according to drawings and production requirements.
• Perform MIG/MAG and other welding processes as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, and fabrication specs.
• Measure, cut, bend, fit, tack, weld, and finish metal components accurately.
• Operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, saws, drills, torches, and related tools.
• Set up welding and fabrication equipment and select materials, settings, techniques.
• Inspect completed work for dimensions, alignment, weld quality, and workmanship.
• Finish and clean up fabricated components; work with steel and related materials.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of reinforcing steel cages and frames.
• Identify material, measurement, equipment, or quality issues and report them.

Position Summary

Warrior Precast, LLC is seeking an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, assembling, and preparing metal components used in the production of precast concrete products and related structures.

The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of hands-on fabrication and welding experience , strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Experience in a manufacturing, precast concrete, structural steel, or construction environment is strongly preferred.

This is a hands-on position requiring the ability to read measurements and drawings, operate fabrication equipment, perform various welding processes, and produce quality work in a fast-paced production environment.

• Fabricate, weld, assemble, and modify metal components according to drawings, measurements, specifications, and production requirements.
• Perform MIG/MAG and other applicable welding processes as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, weld symbols, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, fit, tack, weld, and finish metal components with accuracy.
• Operate and safely use welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, saws, drills, torches, and other fabrication tools.
• Set up welding and fabrication equipment and select appropriate materials, settings, and techniques for the job.
• Inspect completed work for proper dimensions, alignment, weld quality, and overall workmanship.
• Perform grinding, finishing, cleanup, and other preparation necessary to complete fabricated components.
• Work with steel, reinforcing steel, plate, angle, tubing, and other metal materials.
• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of reinforcing steel cages, embeds, frames, brackets, lifting components, and other components associated with precast production.
• Identify and communicate material, measurement, equipment, or quality issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Properly maintain and care for welding machines, tools, equipment, and company property.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable OSHA standards.
• Assist other production employees and departments as needed to meet production schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
