Metro Associates in Albany is seeking an engineer to develop precast concrete solutions for civil and structural transportation projects in the Capital Region. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, durable designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Formación

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 0-5 years minimum transportation and/or structural engineering experience.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain it.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in RISA 3D.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and solve problems using critical thinking and sound engineering judgement.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and take ownership of assigned work.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Adaptability and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Execute precast engineering and design assignments for civil and structural projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop structurally sound, cost-effective, and visually appealing precast concrete designs.
• Perform structural analysis and engineering calculations to evaluate performance under various loading conditions.
• Select materials and components that meet project requirements for strength, durability, and sustainability.
• Prepare accurate drawings, plans, and specifications that align with industry standards and project requirements.
• Support project cost estimating efforts for precast materials and components.
• Assist Project Managers and Designers throughout project development and support QA/QC processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
