Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD drafting software; SolidWorks is a plus but not required.
• Associate's degree in drafting or related field, or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years of experience in precast or construction industry
• Knowledge of construction and engineering principles
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans, grading and utility drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings
• Ability to collaborate with engineers
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Interpret civil site plans and drainage layouts to develop precast solutions.
• Produce accurate shop drawings and production drawings for precast stormwater structures using CAD software.
• Perform quality checks to identify and correct drafting errors before project release to production.
• Revise shop drawings based on design changes and client feedback.
• Work with sales, project management and production teams to ensure accurate representation of structure dimensions.
• May be required to assist in other office duties as needed.
