Job summary

Tindall Corporation in the United States seeks an Inspector to conduct pre-pour and post-pour inspections to ensure precast concrete members meet shop drawings and PCI tolerances.

You will perform concrete testing (slump, unit weight, air content) and monitor curing; tag products green or red based on conformity; report nonconformances to Engineering.

High School Diploma or GED required; join a team committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bed set-up according to shop drawings for proper size and placement of all reinforcement, including strands, plate location, all structural connections.
• Note any nonconforming items and notify proper personnel to bring product into conformance.
• Perform concrete testing: slumps, unit weights, air content, release cylinders, 28 day cylinders.
• Set-up steam clocks to ensure proper curing temperature.
• Inspect final products, note any nonconformance and notify Engineering for approval or repair order.
