Shea Concrete, New England's premier precaster, is hiring a Quality Control Technician for our Amesbury, MA plant (and Wilmington, MA plant). The role focuses on testing and ensuring quality during production of precast concrete, with responsibilities including field tests and in-plant inspections.

Candidates should have or be willing to obtain an ACI certification; NPCA PQS training is preferred. The position is full-time, with hourly wages in the $28–$34 range, based on experience.

Qualifikationen

• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Grade 1 Certification preferred but not required.
• NPCA PQS Training preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read blueprints and sketches.
• Computers/tablets skills required to perform tasks.
• Ability to remain focused in a busy environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform ACI concrete field tests.
• Conduct quality control inspections in production plant.
• Inspect product after removal from forms (Post-Pour).
• Notify Production Supervisor of deficiencies.
• Perform and/or schedule repairs on products as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures.
• May assist with precast production operation as needed.
