Job description

Precast Concrete Inspector - Full Time/Part Time - Mid-Atlantic Region

Join us at Pennoni as a Precast Concrete Inspector for offsite fabrication inspection at precast and prestressed concrete plants across the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States (PA, NJ, DE, MD, DC, VA, NC).

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-plant Quality Assurance inspections of precast and prestressed concrete highway and bridge materials for transportation agencies.
  2. Perform sampling and testing of plastic concrete as required.
  3. Monitor work to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and specifications.
  4. Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with fabricators, clients, and engineers.
  5. Prepare daily written shop reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • PCI Level I, II, or III Certification.
  • ACI Grade 1 Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to work flexible construction schedules, including overtime.
  • Experience with precast or reinforced concrete.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NETTCP Certification.
  • Experience with prestressed concrete.
