Job summary

Fabcon in Oregon is seeking a Drafter I to produce precast product elevations and a design set for engineers. You will create approval sets for customers and final field sets for production, along with related drawings for plant and vendors.

Responsibilities include laying out units in CAD, recommending efficient layouts, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors. Flexibility to work overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints, customer sketches and specs.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Teamwork and flexibility to handle changing tasks.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Layout precast units using CAD to match plans and specs.
• Suggest efficient and cost-saving panel layouts.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, GCs, steel vendors and vendors.
• Document changes and forward to the job team.
