Pathways Healthcare, LLC in Westwood, MA is hiring for a full-time billing role focused on home health and hospice claims. You will audit, prepare, and follow up on documentation to ensure accurate and timely billing while supporting patient care.

The position follows a 8:30 AM–5:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, at an hourly rate of $18.00–$25.00. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service and communication skills, and comfort with learning new systems.

Responsibilities

• Audit and prepare home health and hospice claims for accurate billing.
• Make outbound calls to resolve documentation and billing needs.
• Review face-to-face docs, unsigned orders, and visit notes; follow up on missing information.
• Run daily/weekly prebill reports to identify billing issues and prevent denials.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Marketing, and Administrative teams to remove barriers and support patient care.
• Meet productivity goals while upholding confidentiality and Pathways’ TRUST values.

Responsibilitie s:

• Audit and prepare home health and hospice claims to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely billing.
• Requires a high comfort level with making outbound calls to drive timely resolution of documentation and billing needs.
• Review face-to-face documentation, unsigned orders, and visit notes; follow up to resolve missing or incomplete information.
• Run daily and weekly prebill reports to identify billing issues and help prevent claim denials.
• Work closely with Clinical, Marketing, and Administrative teams to remove financial barriers and support patient care.
• Meet individual and team productivity goals while maintaining confidentiality and Pathways’ TRUST values.
