Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) is seeking a seasoned supervisor for the Phlebotomy/Receiving and Processing areas. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality specimen handling, timely results, and staff oversight in a busy laboratory setting.

The incumbent will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and must hold ASCP certification as a Phlebotomy Technician. This full-time, dayshift position offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician - ASCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of Phlebotomy and/or Receiving and Processing areas.
• Ensure highest quality specimens and accurate results for lab clients.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff and clients.
• Coordinate with senior staff to develop and maintain procedures and QA activities.
