Job summary

MAPEI Corporation is seeking a Production Operator Pre-Weigher to accurately weigh and prepare ingredients for production at our Fredericksburg, VA site. You will handle materials, operate scales, and transfer goods, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role includes packaging tasks, record-keeping, and equipment operation with forklifts and related tools. Flexibility for overtime and shift hours is required, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on work willingness and mechanical inclination.
• Manufacturing/process experience; forklift certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs independently; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand for extended periods; overtime and shift hours required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and prepare ingredients as per production schedules and instructions.
• Accurately measure and handle ingredients following safety and quality standards.
• Use tools like digital/manual scales, pumps, hand scoops, and various containers for precise measurements.
• Transfer raw materials or finished products within the facility.
• Prepare packaging, label containers, and palletize products.
• Keep accurate records in written and electronic formats.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including lift trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Perform additional duties as required.
