Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Required: graduate of accredited nursing school, GA RN license in good standing, and BLS certification.

Preferred: BSN, 2 years RN experience, ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold certification in American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred: BSN, 2 years RN experience, ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines.
• Adheres to the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
