AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families while ensuring documentation accuracy in the EMR.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's in Nursing (BSN preferred) and demonstrate strong critical thinking and teamwork in a high-quality care environment within a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• RN with ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in critical care and inpatient settings.
• Proficient with EMR systems Cerner or EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure safety.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support and mentor nursing staff as needed.
