Job summary

H&R Block in Derby, Kansas is seeking a Tax Associate to conduct client interviews and support the preparation of individual tax returns. You will help ensure accuracy and timeliness for clients during peak tax season.

You will focus on growing the practice by increasing client retention, offering additional products and services, and mentoring teammates. Training is provided on hire to develop tax expertise and knowledge for audits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience completing individual returns.
• Tax planning and audit support.
• Ability to effectively communicate in person and in writing.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Additional experience for this position is acquired through training upon hiring.
