Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pre-School Teacher to join our Jewish Early Learning Center for fall 2024. As a Pre-School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and preparing them for the future. Your creativity, patience, and ability to create a nurturing environment will contribute to the overall development of our students.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and fostering a love for learning. You will work closely with parents and other staff members to ensure that each child receives personalized attention and support. Additionally, you will maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, manage classroom behavior, and assess student progress.

This is a school year position. Hours 8:30am-12:15pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-2:00pm on Fridays.

The salary starts at $23.00 per hour and is based on experience. Additional hours available.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
  • State certification or licensure for early childhood education preferred.
  • Previous experience working with young children preferred
  • Patience, creativity, and a nurturing nature
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members
