Job summary

Beanstalk Academy in The Bronx, NY is seeking a dedicated Pre School Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing, and educational childcare environment for young learners.

You will plan and lead age-appropriate instruction, collaborate with families and staff, and implement daily schedules that support children's growth and development. Prior ECE experience and a BA in ECE are required to thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or related field is required.
• 1+ years of experience in early childhood education is required.

Responsibilities

• Structuring a learning environment that promotes child health and safety.
• Planning and leading classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate.
• Actively engaging with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child’s program.
• Implementing a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including transitions and age-appropriate opportunities.
• Creating a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning.
• Supporting implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate.
