Pre-Sales Engineer – Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Engineering & AI - US Based - Remote

Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled Sales Engineer with expertise in cloud data warehousing, data engineering, and AI/ML. You will collaborate with sales to present solutions leveraging platforms like Databricks and Snowflake, bridging business needs and technical solutions to solve complex data challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand customer requirements and design scalable cloud data architectures.
2. Present product demos, POCs, and architectural walkthroughs.
3. Deliver technical presentations and workshops on data engineering and AI/ML.
4. Assist with RFP/RFI responses, aligning solutions with client objectives.
5. Facilitate data strategy workshops and build project scopes.
6. Advise on data pipelines, automation, and AI/ML model integration.
7. Guide clients on AI/ML use cases and integration strategies.
8. Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction.
9. Collaborate with internal teams to understand product roadmaps and gather feedback.
10. Train sales teams on latest data technologies.
11. Stay updated on industry trends and share knowledge.

Technical Enablement & Best Practices:

1. Create and maintain technical documentation and collateral.
2. Contribute to best practices, white papers, and case studies.
3. Lead training sessions and webinars on AI-driven data solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, etc.
2. Knowledge of data engineering concepts and frameworks.
3. Experience with AI/ML tools and deployment.
4. Familiarity with data integration, real-time processing, and analytics pipelines.
5. Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
6. Ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders.
7. Background in sales engineering or technical pre-sales in data/AI domains.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Customer-focused with ability to articulate business value.

Experience & Education:

1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
2. 5+ years in cloud data architecture, data engineering, AI/ML, or sales support.
3. Hands-on experience with relevant platforms and tools is preferred.

Bonus Skills:

1. Certifications in relevant technologies.
2. Experience with BI tools and data visualization.
3. Agile and DevOps experience.
4. Supply chain experience is a plus.
